This design can be worn as a Tank or by choosing a a size with more ease, it can be worn as an outer layer or Vest. A DK weight wool or wool blend yarn could easily be substituted for cooler weather.

For this design, Rev Stk is the RS and Stk st is the WS. This vest/tank starts at the bottom, as one piece. You’ll have the option to work Short Rows to create a sloped hemline. There are hip decreases before the body is separated into Front(s) and Back pieces. You will put some stitches on hold, while working other parts. The shoulders are seamed using Three Needle Bind-Off. Next, you’ll be picking up along the Front edges & neckline and knitting the Front/Button Band. You can choose to add button holes, or knit the Front Band without them.

Sizing: For this design, if you want to wear this as a tank, I recommend 2-4” of positive ease at the bust (this means you add that amount to your ACTUAL bust measurement- the widest part). That will give you the Finished Measurement size you should choose. At a 36” bust, I have on the 38, i.e. 2” of ease (worn as a Tank). If you’d like to wear this as a layering piece (Vest/outer garment), you will want to choose a size with more ease (closer to 5-8” of ease),
